A: Yes as long as the week is designated as a RED week (refer to RCI manual) and the start date is 60 days away or more
Q: Can I give my deposited week to a friend or family member? Is there a charge?
A: Yes you can have your week placed in your guest name at no charge
Q: My week is ready to expire - what can I do?
A: You have the option of extending your deposited week for one year (one time only) for only $119.00

Q: If I have weeks deposited in my account and my membership expires, what happens to my week?
A: Your weeks remain in your account until your membership is renewed
Q: I placed a week on hold online and now would like to confirm. How do I confirm the exchange I placed on hold?
A: Please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call us toll free to confirm your exchange
Q: I'd like to put my week up for rent. How do I go about getting my week listed for rent?
A: To list your week in our rental pool you do have to be an active member with HTSE. A rental agreement needs to be filled out for each week you are wanting to list. They are available by clicking on "rentals" on the top tabs
Q: What price should I list my week for? Is there a fee to list my week for rent via HTSE? What if my week don't get rented, do I lose my week?
A: Rental prices will vary depending on resort location. Lawai Beach Resort has set rental prices. Our fee is 25% for any rental amount over $1000.00 or $250.00 under $1000.00. If your week doesn't get rented you have the option of using your week or depositing with an exchange company
Q: Something came up and will have to cancel my exchange. What can I do? Will I lose my week?
A: You may cancel your exchange but will lose any fees charged. Your week will go back in to your account
Q: I purchased a rental. What happens if I cannot make my trip? What can I do?
A: Since ALL rental are nonrefundable you have the option of depositing that week in to your account to use as an exchange in the future. If you are not a member of an exchange company you would have to join to have this option. You may also send a guest in your place
Q: I have weeks deposited in my account and will not be able to use them before they expire. Can you rent those weeks out for me?
A: We do not rent deposited weeks - only actual owners weeks
Q: I looked on the website and don't see any weeks I'm hoping to exchange for. Can you help me find an exchange in a particular area/date?
A: Yes we can start a search for you! A lot of inventory doesn't make it to the site since we do have waitlist for particular areas. Getting on the waitlist early helps your chances of confirming your exchange
Q: Are all the weeks that are listed the ONLY weeks you have?
A: We have access to many popular resort destinations around the world. Ask one of our vacation counselors for assistance
Q: What are the benefits of having you start a search for me? Can't I just go online to search for a week? What happens to the money I paid to start the search if you are unable to find what I'm searching for?
A: Starting a search helps to get you on the waitlist. Many of our deposits you will not see online because we are confirming members on the waitlist. If you are charged the exchange fee to start a search and we do not find a week for you we will refund your exchange fee
Q: My week shows an expiration of 4/30/17 - does that mean I have to book the week or travel before that date?
A: Your week must be booked and travel must be compete before the expiration date.
