Q: I don't own a timeshare week in Hawaii - can I still deposit my mainland resort with you?

Yes, as long as the week is designated as a RED week (refer to RCI manual) and the start date is 60 days away or more.

Q: Can I give my deposited week to a friend or family member? Is there a charge?

Yes, you can have your week placed in your guest’s name at no charge.

Q: My week is ready to expire - what can I do?

You have the option of extending your deposited week for 6 months (2 times max) for $79.00 or one year (one time only) for $119.00.

Q: Can the bonus week be extended?

Yes, we have a one-time extension for 6 months at $99.

Q: How can I become a member?

You may join HTSE online or call our toll-free number 866-860-4873 and speak with a vacation counselor.

Q: If I have weeks deposited in my account and my membership expires, what happens to my week?

Your weeks remain in your account until your membership is renewed.

Q: I placed a week on hold online and now would like to confirm. How do I confirm the exchange I placed on hold?

Please email info@htse.net or call us toll-free to confirm your exchange.

Q: I'd like to put my week up for rent. How do I go about getting my week listed for rent?

To list your week in our rental pool, you must be an active member with HTSE. A rental agreement needs to be filled out for each week you want to list. They are available by clicking on “rentals” on the top tabs.

Q: What price should I list my week for? Is there a fee to list my week for rent via HTSE? What if my week doesn't get rented, do I lose my week?

Rental prices will vary depending on the resort location. Lawai Beach Resort has set rental prices. Our fee is 30% for any rental amount over $1000.00 or $300.00 under $1000.00. If your week doesn’t get rented, you have the option of using your week or depositing it with an exchange company.

Q: Something came up and I will have to cancel my exchange. What can I do? Will I lose my week?

You may cancel your exchange but will lose any fees charged. If the start date of your exchange week is less than two weeks away, you will lose usage of your deposited week.
